Tax & Treasury Manager - Build out a tax function in this newly created position! HEMPHILL EXCLUSIVE

Join this privately held but highly complex organization (over $500 million in revenue with dozens of corporate entities) that has grown steadily organically and via acquisition over the past 40+ years.  This business has outsourced their tax function historically and is looking to hire a leader to build out the tax team and take on other duties touching finance, treasury and accounting while working closely with the finance executive team.

 

• Non-income tax work has historically been spread throughout the finance function so you will have the opportunity to bring all of this work under your scope of responsibility, hire / train a team and build out processes and systems that allow this work to be done as efficiently and effectively as possible
• Federal and State Tax Compliance has been outsourced to a large CPA firm in the past and you will have the opportunity to set a strategy for how that work can be brought in-house and what the team should look like to accomplish this mission
• You will also have the opportunity to take ownership for treasury functions for multiple corps and work very closely with the CFO on cash management and investment decisions
• Partner up with the Corporate Controller and CFO on accounting duties as you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other divisions and gain exposure to much more than just tax in this key leadership role
