Staff Accountant - $60-70k Salary - Aksarben Area - HEMPHILL EXCLUSIVE

Locally owned business with a fun, friendly, organized atmosphere, is searching for an experienced Accounting professional to join their team in a fast paced role!  This is an excellent opportunity to work very closely with an experienced Controller and another experienced Staff Accountant in this stable, profitable and well-run company.

 

• Take ownership for GL accounting activities for one division of this growing company and handle all monthly close, bank reconciliations, management reporting and post-close analysis for this division
• Roll up your sleeves as you handle Accounts Payable for this division, building relationships with vendors, opening mail, cutting checks and applying payments to the proper GL Accounts
• Review Billing and Accounts Receivable activities for this division and ensure that the team is coding and applying cash properly
• Assist the Controller with special projects tied to financial analysis and process improvement initiatives
