Senior Accountant - Real Estate Industry - HEMPHILL EXCLUSIVE

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership for a key accounting function that will make a direct impact on some of Omaha’s most high profile and community altering real estate development projects.  We are searching for an experienced and polished individual - this role will handle a complex plate of accounting duties and will interact with the “who’s who” of Omaha investors and real estate titans.

 

• Take ownership for the work papers tied to numerous development projects and existing locations and consolidate / tie out in the accounting software to the penny; this will be a fun piece of the position for someone who is analytical, loves playing with excel and enjoys the feeling of “having it all reconcile”
• Handle all property accounting for numerous locations as you receive the trial balance from more junior accountants / property managers and finalize financial statements
• Play a key role in building dashboards and other key reports that will highlight how each property is performing; the insights you provide will be used to make million dollar decisions by investors and partners so your reports must be accurate and comprehensive
• Partner with divisional leaders to build annual budgets and own the monthly budget to actual report
• Tackle numerous fun investigative and process improvement projects as the firm continues to expand and grow
