Hemphill Search Group has been hired exclusively to assist this stable, profitable company in the grain and agriculture industry as they make a key hire into their accounting team.  Over 50% of the employees working for this company have an agricultural / farming background and this is a great role for someone who is genuine, hard-working and dedicated who has a passion for the farming and agriculture industry. 

 

• Step into this key role in the Controller’s team as you take ownership for financial reporting and close activities, account analysis, reconciliations and mark to market & derivative accounting
• Partner with departments outside of accounting including operations and commodity trading divisions as you help provide them with data that will help them run their divisions more intelligently
• Provide monthly post-close analysis as you tell the story about how each division is performing and forecast opportunities for improvement
• Work with leadership on special projects tied to system upgrades, acquisition integration and operational initiatives
