Locally owned / well-respected Omaha small business is searching for a CFO to join their team on a part-time basis due to a retirement of a longtime beloved leader.  This company is profitable and well-run, allowing you to focus on strategic initiatives and add value as the company continues to thrive in the years ahead.  We are searching for a leader who thinks “like an owner” who enjoys autonomy and enjoys taking ownership and loves business.

 

• Oversee consolidated financial statement preparation and all dashboard creation / management reporting and explain outcomes to the CEO, your direct supervisor.
• Review and supervise payroll and billing.  Must be willing to jump in and roll up the sleeves and do this work if one of your staff is on vacation.
• Take ownership for tax planning and strategy, partnering with outside CPA.
• Lead the budget process and explore strategic initiatives with the CEO; we are searching for a bus-driver who will enjoy having a say in this company’s direction.
• Lead all Risk, Legal, IT and Vendor Management.
• This business has several important automation / process improvement initiatives planned for the next few years and the CFO will lead many of these as well.
