Successful Omaha business has been steadily growing for decades and is ready to modernize their accounting function.  Wonderful opportunity to show the leaders of this company how much value can be added with a well-run and automated accounting function.  Spend the first year on the job improving processes,  integrating systems, and developing reporting.

 

In the first year on the job, you will be tasked with:

• Fully integrating systems
• Implementing a new GL
• Improving inefficient processes
• Building a budget and rolling twelve forecast that actually makes sense
• Building a dashboard for the leadership team that shows how the business is performing

 

Once you have modernized the accounting and budget functions, your role will shift to:

• CFO and strategic leader, working closely with the Owner and the Head of Operations to run the company
• Head of all Human Resources, IT, Facilities, Banking and Vendor Management
• Hands on Leader, heading up all financial statement prep, monthly close, and Payroll
• Analyst - looking at potential acquisitions and integrating more analytical discipline into the company’s decision making process
